As your Member of Parliament for Vancouver South, Wai Young appreciates the opportunity to honour the special milestones of individuals such as anniversaries, birthdays and recognitions with a special commemorative certificate.

Constituents in Vancouver South may request these certificates by contacting our constituency office.

The Prime Minister of Canada

The Governor General & the Queen

Also, you may also request a congratulatory message from His Excellency the Governor General and/or Her Majesty the Queen. The Governor General recognizes both wedding anniversaries and birthdays for those 50 years + at 5-year intervals and 90 years + at 5-year, respectively.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sends messages to Canadians who are 100 years of age or older (in 1 year intervals thereafter) and couples who have been married for 60 years or more with 5 year intervals thereafter.

For messages from the Queen, proof of birth date or anniversary is required in the form of a copy of birth certificate or marriage certificate. Details and application information can be obtained at: The Governor General of Canada’s website.
